Squirrels and Blue Jays will take nestlings .
 They eat more than nuts.

Do the other bird species not care that Blue JayC41's and Squirrels would possibly take nestlings and just don't care? If there is a little Screech owl in my tree all hell breaks loose, but squirrels are around daily and it's only the Mockingbird that cares. I'm going to get to the bottom of this historic feud.

I whistle different carp at the mockingbird, sometimes they repeat it at my amusement, squirrels don't do that

Stated in the OP. Olds  There is not even a nest around or they would be dive bombing the kids and I but they're not.

Train the squirrels to attack the mockingbirds. It's fairly easy - just buy this toy and show it to them a hundred times a day for at least two-weeks. They will catch on and then will kick the ever living mockingbird a-- out of your tomato wrecking problem. You just better hope they never decide to turn on you.
