Thinking of doing a summer fishing trip on a new lake. Any recommendations of the three?

Skip LOZ. Its good but almost unfishabe due to idiots. The wakes off big cruisers just force you off the water by 9. Table rock for some reason doesnt have those problems. Better scenery and more things to do off the water.

go just below dam at taneycomo east of branson .(close to forsyth Mo You launch there go up to dam , catch trout. then (you are on upper bull shoals) go downstream and catch whites(sandbass). from there down into upper bull shoals and catch black bass (most are spotted bass). Sometimes you can have three limits of three different species. fun place to fish

LOZ is very fishable during the week. On the weekends, starting Friday afternoon, forget about it. Table rock is very clear and can get rough on the weekends. It all depends on where you fish. Both great lakes.

Thanks, so LOZ is probably out of the question. Going to be visiting over the weekend so I hope Table Rock isn't too bad and we can enjoy our fishing time a bit.

Table Rock is my favorite lake and you should go fish it if you never have. Stay away from LOZ!!!!! Bull shoals will be a mess in the summer.
You should try Stockton. Smaller lake about 45 mins from Springfield mo. It is a fishing lake for sure and the crazies dont come in the 100s like the 3 you naked. Shoot me a PM and give you some insight on going to Stockton in the summer time.

Table Rock is awesome. If you go to the BS and go to the pot hole, north end below power site dam be very careful. A lot of rock bars and there is a bunch of metal sticking up from a grain trailer that was washed over the dam a few years ago. Pot hole is awesome for bass, trout and walleye. Bull Sholes below Shadow Rock park is good but if you dont know where to fish its hit or miss. I would fish lower end of Taneycomo. Its loaded with grass and tons of good bass. If they are running water it gets really good. Have fun

Bull has the least amount of traffic, the TR, then LOZ. LOZ is the best fishing and not to busy during the week. Weekends, get off by 10. All are great night fishing that time of year. Bull and TR both have great trout rivers near by too.
I love the smell of two stroke in the morning.

LOZ is the best of the three, but as mentioned, gets crazy by Friday afternoon. Bull Shoals has had excellent spawns last several years and lake is full of 3 lb bass. If the wife and kids go along, Table Rock is the place as it's just a few miles from Branson.......don't forget Taneycomo....Excellent cold water lake for nice Rainbows and Browns.

I havent been to Bull Shoals, but of the other two Id definitely choose LOZ. You can trailer to all parts of the lake and its too big to run around fun fishing anyway. Id avoid the Hurricane Deck area completely. There are big fish all over that lake.

I am a little partial to Table Rock, it is def one of my favorites to fish, and you can actually get a really nice place to stay around the lake for a pretty reasonable price. We stayed in a really nice, fully furnished log cabin just before the bridge at Kimberling City last time we were up there and it was very reasonable and only about 1/2 mile to the ramp. There is also a lot of good food and things to do around the area after getting off the water. I have stayed on the lower end, as well as what I call mid lake around the Kimberling City bridge and have to say I prefer around the bridge area due to being able to keep your options open and running into either river or to run south to the dam.
