OX66 is EFI and going to drink. Dead reliable though. The HPDI are direct injection, theyre a lot better on fuel contrary to what someone said earlier in this thread. Coming from an optimax (we see great luck with them, Im not sure where all the flack comes from sometimes. With as many Optis out there most run great) you are gonna notice MUCH more fuel consumption. Optis are great on gas. To throw a plug in for my boat as I always do because I LOVE it, I can get almost 7 miles a gallon cruising in my Bullet with my optimax, hand calc and according to my VesselView mobile. And I can do 80 miles an hour at 5000 RPM. Talk about efficiency and then why all us Bullet guys love our boat LOL

i picked up a 2002 ZX225 with the OX66 225 earlier this year. It doesnt drink gas, it GULPS it !!!

Just remember we use to say they were great on gas and the best motors out there.
