The Ray Hubbard Bass Club will be holding our sixth monthly meeting of 2018 this Thursday night, June 7th starting at 7:00PM. We meet at Bass Pro Shops in Garland on the restaurant patio downstairs. We are taking memberships for 2018. If you want to join and be eligible for our Club Championship in November, you will need to join now and fish the rest of the tournaments this year to get your five. David will be there taking money as usual, along with Brad and Brian helping with all the paper work. Membership costs $30.00 for the calendar year and includes your entire immediate family. If you are a returning member whose information has not changed, just pay your membership and sign the Sign In Sheet and your work is done. If you are a NEW member, or if you have moved, gotten a new phone number etc. we will need you to fill out an information sheet for the Club roster. We'll get you taken care of if you need some help. Please make sure you find the Sign In Sheet. It's worth 10 AOY points!
Topics include results from last month on Cedar Creek. Turnout was good and if you finished at or near the top, come prepared to tell us how you did it. We will talk about our tournament coming up this Saturday June 9th at Lake Bob Sandlin. We will be doing registration and weigh in out of the Titus County South ramp (near the dam) starting at 4:30. Tournament hours are 5:50 (first light) to 3:00PM. Once registered, you have to get your live well checked. Full tournament details can be found here in the Bass Clubs section. We will do Partner Finder and try and make sure everyone will have a partner for Sandlin that wants to fish. We will talk about staying healthy in this heat, both you and your fish. Human care and fish care will be discussed. If you need a place to stay Friday night, The Lucky Lure (formerly Ragan's) will be offering RHBC members $10.00 off their room. They've done a lot of renovation so go by and check it out. We will talk about our July tournament coming up on Lake Texoma, and decide what time weigh in will be.
We will talk about the RHBC Championship will take place at Lake O' The Pines on November 10-11. We will talk about the community events that will take place in the coming year. We have a date change for Fish For A Cure. It will now be on SUNDAY October 28th! If you are interested in sponsorship or donations of goods or services, please let me know.
