Creek fishing has been on "FIRE" and the bite has continued to be good all year. Plenty of BIG fish are still active with the spawn taking place. Myself,Rick aka CatYakker,Steve, and Clayton aka Wildman of the Navidad, fished several creeks over the past several weeks and caught plenty of nice fish! Fish were holding by brush piles, overhanging tree limbs, and grass beds. Fish were in 2 to 4 feet of water. Early morning bite from sun-up till 10am is the best time. Lots of nice Redbreast,Rios,Redear,Bluegill,Longear, and bass were caught. Most fish were released to fight again with some being kept for the dinner table. Worms with ultralight tackle were used. Catching some Creek Slabs. It just don't get any better! fish

Man, y'all are killing me! I'm laid up with a massive upper respiratory system infection that has spread to both my sinuses and my ears! Been flat on my back for a week. I need to get on the water bad but for now I'm going to simpy lay here and wait for death. The way i feel it can't be too far away!
