Good advice in here. Just like you said, the key is to eliminate excuses. Be ruthless about it.

Squat thrusts really work most of the body, especially if you add the "jump" after each one.

They are very difficult, and sometimes very hard for people in shape. Therefore, it all depends on how "limber" a person is and how easy/not easy he/she can get up off the floor. If your body allows it, give squat thrusts a try.

If they are too hard at first, especially for a person who has a lot of weight to lose, or if he/she has bad knees or shoulders, but once you can do "1" good squat thrust, incorporate it into your regiment.

"Swim," swim, swim, swim, and anyone can do it, and it will not really be dangerous as long as you are in a pool that is not deep.
Swimming exercises the entire body, truly. You will feel it even in your hands and face. It really may be the best, full-body-workout ever!

Good luck!

At age 62 I did the Murph on Memorial Day. 2 years ago it was tough for me to get up out of the recliner without groaning. Outdoor boot camps arent for everyone but it is working for me.

cheer
