Just got the boat I have been drooling over for the last five years. 2018 Nauticstar 2140 sport CC with 150 yahama 4stroke. 9" helix and 24v ipilot. Its epic.
My question, is there anyone on here who owns or has owned one of these? what should i look out for as far as weak points and issues they may have had. I'm still blinded by the shiny and awesome. I have done my engine/lower break in and will do my service at 20hrs. I wanted to test it so went to lake Austin last Saturday (was the first boat at the 360 bridge at 5:45AM and when I left around 4 Pm there were folks parking trailers 1/2 mile away up the road) Needless to say it was a mad house however i hit rollers on purpose and never once did i slam down hard or worry about it being too rough to be on plane. I plan on fishing the spawn in lakes and the coast during the summer and fall.
