I know a bunch are gonna recommend the Ego S2 Slider but there are a lot of negative comments regarding the weight, the handle, the rigidity....

Any pleased owners of said net? Do you guys recommend any other net?

Frabil Hiber-Net. I got 10 years out of my first one! It's the only net I'll ever own.

Bass Pro has some nice lighter aluminum ones that are budget minded. It isn’t very catchy for baits, but might change out the rubberized nylon for a straight rubber (Frabill) net. Sizes are pretty standard, so you can get a customized quality net for about $40!

I like the longest handle and biggest net that's still manageable. Frabil conservation series and promar grande series
