Don't normally do Saturdays or holidays but I wanted to eat an early supper and fish a little this evening. I started to turn around and go home when I saw all the people and boats but I thought what the heck, I'll just shoot docks and stay out of everyone's way....WRONG! Every dock that I normally fish had a party going on and I wasn't invited. On to Plan B...fish the stumps...they can't ski in the stumps....WRONG AGAIN! There's some crazy people out there that evidently don't like their kids. Anyway, found some good fish on brush and they were very aggressive. Wasn't keeping any today but I caught lots. Caught a few that were 15 inchers and one that was just a tad under 16 inches. Since my scale is broke we'll just call that one a new lake record...

No, only saw a couple other boats trying to fish. All jet fleas and ski boats.

They closed parks on JP it was so bad that lake will not handle that much traffic .I went by at about 4 pm today. But nice catches OP.

I went out Sunday morning just outside of Austin.. by 1030 am it was just too much. We caught about 25 on jigs, kept a dozen and called it quits. It made my decision a whole lot easier about going out memorial day monday- not!

I got an itch to go this past weekend...decided against it about 20 different times...guess I am gonna have to do some night fishing, weather is right...

Yes sir, we went this morning and had a melt down by noon.
