I have a Ranger R72 and trying to install a Garmin Echomap 93sv. Ive done this process several times on a few different boats and have never been able to not get the plug wire end of my unit from the back to the front. Where the wire passes, there just isnt much room at all and it keeps getting hung pushing up there.

I dont know what to do. Just keep trying? ha. Every other boat I have worked on has provided some resistance sometimes, but this one I cannot get up there.

Using the fiberglass wire rod kit from harbor freight...maybe there is another method?

Any help would be appreciated, before I burn this thing down.

Next time wrap some tape to form a cone so the end doesn't hang up on the sharp edge
