It�s hot and I�m not talking about the weather.

We�ll the fishing is still been fantastic here on Palastine. We are still limiting out on most trips. With some very nice crappie. Which makes for some happy clients.

Monday morning was Tom and Leslie with her second day. These two are a hoot to fish with. These two know how to set the hook on some big slabs!!! End of the day with 50 Crappie.

Monday evening was Ross and his wife Jackie. They are from South Texas. A great all-around happy couple to fish with. With even bigger smile�s at the end of the day with there 50 east Texas slabs!!!

Tuesday morning was Gary and his wife Lori. They drove from West Texas to get on some East Texas slabs. And they weren�t disappointed they couldn�t believe how big the Crappie where here in Palestine. And to top it off they got to catch them on jigs!!!

Tuesday evening with Charlie and his wife Vicky. I Always look forward to fishing with these guys. They spoil me a little bit. When they book a trip they always invite me to eat supper with them.Crappie, french fries and sweet tea. And wash it all down with some blue bell ice cream . Anyone that knows me, knows I can�t turn that down. Ended there day with 50 Crappie!!!

Wednesday was Jeremy and his client Scott. Jeremy�s Company books trips with me to take out their clients. 3 trips so far and we�ve been blessed to limit out on all three of them. We have a lot of fun on these trip�s and give each other a hard time. They left the cleaning table with 50 very nice crappie!!!

Today was Michael-and his wife Amanda. I�m blessed to get to write an article each month for their local paper. Great people that love to fish. They end the day with 50 Crappie and a boatload of laughs.

Thank all you guys for fishing with me. I know there are a lot of Guide�s out there to fish with. But you guys pick me to fish with. I�m truly blessed and honored to be your Crappie Guide.

I would like to ask everybody to please take time out and remember the reason for Memorial Day. And be safe traveling and on the water.

I am glad to see families enjoying your guiding skills...

It's good to see so many husbands and wives fishing together,
seems much more prominent in Crappie fishing. My grandparents crappie fished together
for 70 years, they fished into their early nineties.. Me and Debbie can only be so lucky.
