I am trying to bring my Onix 10 up to date on its software. I downloaded the files from the Humminbird website. When I try to upload the files to my Onix it doesnt do a thing. There are several files and the file extensions are .upd. I am operating from a Mac. My Onix is at Rev. 3.40, according to Humminbird I am one rev out. Any help would be appreciated.

May need to open the unzipped file, then transfer each file individually to the SD card. There is about 8 of em I believe

What are you doing after you put the card in? Are you expecting it to auto-detect, or are you going to files and that is where you are having issues?

I am going to files on the Onix, inserting the card and waiting for the Onix. I have not been able to get my Onix and Solix to network. Humminbird says the reason is my Onix is not up to Rev and that the last update should solve the problem.

May need to exit files and open it back up after you insert the card if its not reading it when you insert it. You can aslo try removing any map cards and inserting the SD card before turning on the unit

You have to open the ZIP file and copy the files to a memory card. The unit will not read a zip file. ONLY put the software on the card for items you use. If you don't have any Sonar Modules (SM), you do not need any of those.
