Anyone ever dealt with a very small hole in seat upholstery?.... it's the size of a pencil lead....but drives me crazy..... I'm wondering if I can use the clear tape designed for awning repair?

I used some clear vinyl repair tape I got on Amazon and it has held up for a year without peeling off.
