Seems.. I get like 4-5 years before it gets to the point it is not worth repairing anymore. I've got a pretty good sized corner lot, so I think that is pretty decent but wonder what y'all get? My Sears just took a dump and have to buy another.

I just got rid of a snapper bagger that was 10-11 years old with plenty of life left. The self propelled cable broke and the pull cord was broken too. I tied the pull cord together and could have fixed the self propelled but decided to buy a new mower. I put an add on Facebook market place and sold it for $75 within an hour.

Buy a Honda.

i have a honda that's well over 20 years old. runs great.

Granted, I can mow the front yard by re-positioning a 100ft extension chord twice, but I have a previous model of this electric lawn mower, and it's going on 14 years strong. Never serviced it

My step dad has a Snapper and his is 8+ years old. I see a Honda showing up later today.

I started paying people to do ours a number of years back. Worked out better.

The $399 honda is a great mower for the average size lawn. I had a yard boy with a briggs and stratton last 15 years before i got the honda about 5 years ago.

I have a Craftsman that's 15 years old. I may be replacing it soon.

I have a troy built self-propelled that's going on 8. Still runs really well. Run a little seafoam through it every january and it keeps trucking.

I've got a 14 year old Toro that still gets the job done every time.

I expect at least 10 years no matter what. I keep them up but use them hard.

Same here, bought my HR215 in 96-97. Starts on the first pull!

We have one of the first Hondas that came out, still runs like a top. Even after a 15 year tour in commercial lawn cutting.

Depends on care and maintenance.
