 Wade fishing in the surf by west beach

How has wade fishing in the surf towards the west end of Galveston near Jamaica beach been? Waves look calm Monday and I’m thinking of making a run. Also, any pointers on what bait they have been hitting hard.

i heard the trout are there and with this light north wind we're supposed to get, it ought to be good and flat.
