Taking the wife and kid out this weekend.. I saw that at Amistad the Crappie fishing is "Fair" on live minnows. I've never even seen crappie on the TPWD fishing report so just curious if people might be catching a few???

Thoughts or ideas on where to look. I just want the kid to have fun and wouldn't mind frying some up.

Thanks!

Only one I know were caught up the Pecos around some of the caves in the Spring time. I have also heard a few yarns about catching them around the railroad bridge in the upper lake part.

Cool! I may give it a try for a little bit and see what happens. Thanks.
