It's 32 feet low and has dropped 15.3 feet in the last three months. Releases have slowed to about 3200 cfs. Though.

Fished last Tuesday and Wednesday. Numbers were good on t-rigs and cranks. Lots of small fish on gravel points on the square bill. Largest of the trip was a 10.37 on a deep crank. Wind allowed us to move around easily. Hate to see the water dropping still.

Water releases are trending down, and hopefully that will continue.. We had 2.5 inches of rain on Sunday night. As did a lot of the country below us.

Hopefully this long irrigation cycle is about over. They beat us like a rented mule..

Fishing remains excellent, with big numbers being reported, and a few big fish mixed in. Rocks, rocks rocks.. Shallow and deep. You can catch em on most anything, but lipless and squarebills shallow.. Senkos and flukes anywhere and deep cranks on deeper rock humps and ledges. C-rig will also work..

Pretty easy to catch fish right now..

The bridge in the Veleno is still under water.. But it is best to go around it.. Big marker on the west side. Go by on the right going out of the Veleno.. Also another marker or two on it.. Go west of the big one!

Still a lot of water in the Salanaias.. But it is a far cry from what it was..

33 feet low.. Still a lot of lake out there!

I miss the old water level graph on the Falcon Lake Tackle web site that you could slide the bar to compare different months and years
water needs to be at 275 for some great spots to be holding fish.
268 is a little low --- but it sure makes some things visible like bridges, points, drop offs rocks, Dolly Parton, Pelican Point, etc etc
