Making a trip to sandlin this coming weekend and dont know where to begin. I have heard reports of good crappie and good sand bass being caught right now but seeing as I have no clue about the lake, looking to some who are a little more familiar with it to get some advice on it. Any tips or starting points would be greatly appreciated!

Caught a few while i was bass fishing last weekend. i was throwing crankbaits around wind blown points. i'm sure if you were using more white bass specific lures you could really get into em. I also know of a specific spot that holds a good amount of sandies. ill send it to you over PM.
