By the time I was 15 perfet little soldier is what I was I felt nothing. Then at 17 my older brother was accidently killed.It felt like someone ripped my soul out I fashioned the finest armor best weapons to keep anyone away. Glimpse over. A week ago I said hi to this woman chit chat started sat down she was a solid 6. Next thing I know I'm dishing to her everything the secrets I held so close. Tears were streaming down my face. I finally caught my breath asked if we could meet here again. She said sure sat same time same place. Away my mind was swimmin WTF just happened.She disarmed me weapons and armor no way a woman could do that. She probally thinks faild background check to he's an effin serial killer. She was waiting sat little chit chat. She said your story is heartbreaking that said you have an amazing story to testify to! My heart fluttered for the first time in my life took my breath away I am 58. Her single mom I asked her out she said I am not for you go enjoy your family that grand daughter you love so much go to the lake. I felt a gentle firm shutter inside like a mom pushing a child.I got up and left with a smile on my face.

1) shes a solid 6 milf? About how old was she?
2) on your second meeting with her you asked her out but she said no? Her reason was that she was not for you and to take your granddaughter fishing?
3) did you tell her you had a granddaughter and whether you were married or single?

Other than that, sounds like you just ran into a compassionate person you were able to bond with instantly.

Personally, I think yes. But does it really matter? You had a wall-breaking experience that opened your eyes to some of the great things you have going on in your life. Use this to your advantage and make the effort to love your family and your self.

OP, I believe in them, I've had a couple of experiences too. I just don't buy that someone with some dark history that has held it in for 45 years suddenly opens up to a random person on a random meeting. I believe it was divine intervention. That was bothering me too she looked like a woman and yeah I am not supposed to be with an Angel. When she said I am not for you That is when I knew I felt no rejection just a mothers gental push you know the go play now push a mother gives to a child. That was it. I saw what I thought was a ghost and in retrospect I now know it was an angel.

Story a friend told me once. He was in country Nam with a 3 man scout patrol. Walked into a village right into an ambush . MG bunker and outnumbered 8:1. He yelled for the other 2 to run for cover while he emptied his poodle shooter's mag. He had one of them throw away Laws rocket so he shouldered it and it misfired. He'd been instructed not to try and re-[censored] these weapons but he did anyway and while he was doing it he heard a voice right at his shoulder tell him not to worry, he was going to be alright . He said it was so vivid that he turned and looked and nobody was there. All this time he is reasonably in the open and being fired on. He shoulders the rocket and it fires wiping out the machine gun and killing and scattering the NVA there. He charges them firing driving them towards some woods. He returned to his guys and they notice the other guys regrouping at the edge of this rubber plantation. He charges them with their one remaining Laws rocket loosing it into their group killing more. None of them was even wounded especially my friend. This is amazing to me but not near as amazing as the reassuring voice he heard at the beginning of the firefight.

My friend is not a religious type. Probably one of the truest of men I know, great character, who has overcome some mountainous challenges. I'm humbled by him and I worship no man. I think he had angelic protection that day .

I know the OP asked this not to become a religious thread but the wisdom in this scripture from Hebrews 13:2 jumps out at me and I've thought about it many times. " Continue in brotherly love. Thank you for the quote Ray Bob it is spot on. I have heard a few stories like this one from nam vets. I am amazed by each and every one of them sometimes a voice, sometimes a push, the look on their faces like they are seeing it and feeling it. Warriors and Angels are amazing stories.
