For the price of a new z519 you can get an awesome loaded 20ft a few years old with warranty. Let someone else eat the price of a new boat. They depreciate immediately

I've got a certificate for a z18 Nitro that I'm looking to unload if you're wanting a new boat. Still trying to figure out the logistics, waiting on phone calls from BPS.

You can get a great used boat and still be happy. My boat is 18'6 cobra and love it. Would be nice to have a bigger boat? yes but I also have 5 kids and the boat is PAID FOR. Get the best used boat you can afford.

First boat? But a cash boat....a cheap one. If you like fishing ...AND BOAT OWNERSHIP(which is its own hassle sometimes)....then upgrade in a year.

Two good places to start on both ends of the used spectrum as far as price goes.

I have not read any of the post in this thread ..... just the opening remark.
My advice.....
be sure to have YOUR MECHANIC check out the motor,,,,,real good.
take the boat to the water and run it for 1 hour straight.
do not take anybody's word for how good the motor is.
HAVE IT CHECKED OUT !!!!!
