We caught 4 barely keepers early and missed several that just bit funny. Just never could find a quality bite. All seemed to be fry guarders. Took our butt kicking and went home. Beautiful day except for the wind. How did you guys do?

We caught lots of fish , but struggled on the keepers and only ended up with 4.. 4-6 feet of water in brush on points, secondary and main lake.. Overall, I enjoyed it, but we worked are butts off to get the fish we needed..

Fish were exactly where we left them in practice and pretty much doing the same thing. Only thing that changed was they all seemed a little lighter than what we caught in practice but we caught fish from start to finish. Fished really clean and did all we could for a big bite but it never happened. Always a good time when they are eating a frog.
Our primary area stacked up with boats pretty quick but we still caught a ton there. We managed to cull up every area we hit so its hard to second guess ourselves much. We had a limit by 7:30 and caught a fair numbdr of keepers. All the same size though. Usually on Tawakoni when you catch that many fish you will get a big bite but we did not. It happens. Fun times and a great day of fishing.

Dink dink dink 15" keeper. Dink dink dink 15" keeper. Pretty much repeat that for 10 hours and that was our day. Tried a few different things to see if we could run into some quality fish but had the same result. Cant say that I've ever caught that many fish on a Frog and never had one over 3 lbs.

I would like to take this time to formerly apologize to Champion 1 for putting you through the day having to put up with me. I have never sneezed, coughed, wiped my nose and eyes that were watering and itching in my whole life as I did during the day Saturday but was not going to miss the tournament. I know you got tired of me gagging all day but put us in areas that I couldn't believe did not produce better for us. Thanks for everything and now after medicine and all day Sunday recuperating I am almost over the crud and ready to go again.

No apology needed bro. I was proud you toughed it out. I was really worried about you though. Your a tough guy and a great partner. I appreciate all you do. On to Cedar Creek!
