Oh yeah, just wait until you see the new SHO's.

Why so many options? Verado, four stroke, and four stroke pro xs? Verado. Supercharged V8, high altitudes need the extra umph.

Why so many options? Verado, four stroke, and four stroke pro xs? Plus the v6 models that were released earlier.

Why so many options? Verado, four stroke, and four stroke pro xs? I'm confused too, why are some of the 200/225 V6 and some of them are V8? Lower units do look different between models but I think more of this is just to keep some that had the older branded pro xs, verado or seapro from thinking their brand was discontinued. Very convoluted way of introducing a new engine formula, messy in fact.

Very convoluted way of introducing a new engine formula, messy in fact. Could be to keep some motors current. Seems like it would 've better, and cheaper, to build a couple main blocks and make different hp models off of that but I guess that's why I'm just a welder

Its getting real now. Mercury has updated their website and given the specs for the motors. The V8 250 and 300 Pro XS in 20" are 505 pounds. They run on 87 minimum and 90 maximum gas.
Gamechanger.
