they use tha same form as used for cars/trucks is where they get tha "empty" weight thing.. but if they would look at tha requirements for tha trailer registration is states gross weight.... bang

I've registered to many ta count boat trailers, both manufactured and home built, over tha last 40+ years and can't remember a time I had ta have "empty weight".. jus haven't done it in tha last 8 years or so!

She also stated that I must have the weight of the trailer alone without the boat recorded on the official weigh slip. So I am going to get the trailer inspected with the boat on it next. Then I will have to find/hire someone to watch the boat for me at a marina while I go get the trailer weighed. I hope getting the boat registered will be a little easier.
Fortunately not the case in Rockwall county. They should be able to subtract the known weights of boat, motor, and gear. Just being dicks.

So, based on the label only, my trailer should weigh 810 lbs?
