I was planning to launch at CB Saturday until I realized they had their championship going out of there this weekend.
I was looking at their rules at it shows start fishing 6AM and trailering is allowed. Being this is only a ~200 team deal and trailering is allowed I'm thinking the ramp may not be much worse than a normal weekend. Is that a bad assumption?

It shouldnt be too bad, depends on what time you want to launch. I would assume most people would launch close to their lodging and that the ones around the CB area will split between CB and Jackson Hill. Like you said, should only be about 200-240 boats spread across the whole lake.
That said, CB will have more than JH so you may want to just cross the bridge and launch at JH.

We do allow for trailering, but Cassel Boykin will still be packed due to the weigh in being held there. If you do launch there, heads up. Not sure when you will stop fishing but from about 2-5 pm, it will be even more packed as the parents and family members will start arriving to watch weigh in, plus all the other teams that trailer over from where they launched.

Is this the last one of the year? Asking for a friend.. HA, maybe for a month or two! At least this one won't be near as bad as the SETX 500 boat cluster.
