My club, Houston Bass Bandits, has a 2 day tourney this weekend.....any intel on either lake is appreciated, and we are always accepting new members......

I’ve never really know there to be tournaments in nacogdoches, paper tournament?

If you do a search on here for Naconiche there are some posts that might help. There is also a video from some yakkers who did well there a few weeks ago.

11/17/2011 I don't know for positive the actual number, but I can tell from the images it was very low.. a buddy said it was 14 ft.

On Naconiche, the guy at the gate told me that every BIG fish caught there has been caught within sight of the boat launch on the main lake. Also, use google earth pro on that area before they filled it. You can clearly mark the roads that traveled across it, and the creek channels easily and load that up to your finder. I can also tell you that Naconiche is the most snaggle filled lake I've ever fished, be prepared to get hung up a bit.

A few years back, Nacogdoches was down 14 feet.. and the google earth images at the time are pretty interesting...

2011 was hard on lake nac. I used to fish out there quite a bit, the water was muddy, no grass, it fished totally different.

So the club weighed three sacks at 20 lb and one fish was weighed at 10 lb on nacogdoches.....on to naconiche

the Niche fished hard, but a 20 lb sack was weighed with an 8.6 kicker......nice lake, but full contact fishing.....
