Heavy on my mind on purchasing one. Sport bike style, for weekend riding with some friends who’ve recently been practicing.
What’s your opinions on motorcycles in general? Any close call stories?

How much riding experience do you have?

Do you have a MC endorsement on your license?

Two types of rider. Those who have crashed and those who will.
Only speaking from over 35 years of riding experience.

Closest thing has been riding an rm250 for a couple summers, and other dirt bikes (not racing).
I do not have a motorcycle license at the moment.

I miss riding, but now that I’m older and married with kids there is no way I’d have one for the road now. My first was a CBR 600 then to a CBR 954. If you do take the plunge make sure you get the best leathers and helmet you can buy. Riding is fun but riding in the heat of a Texas summer with gear on is not really much fun at all. Don’t EVER ride without gear on.

Donor Cycles is what an ER doctor friend calls them. And the "sport bike" riders donate the most!

Most common injury next to traumatic brain injury is losing a leg when the sliding bike grinds your leg off between it and the pavement. Now go out there and have some fun young man.

Wanted one for many years and I have lots of friends who ride. Many close calls and I have a few horror stories I've witnessed. The only thing that stopped me was that I can't touch the ground when sitting on most bikes. And now I'm not as wild as I was and appreciate the air conditioning.

A dear friend that's a rider and author,Daniel Meyer. And the first story that I point people towards... Neighborhood hazard.

My dad has had a metal rod in his right leg since he was 18, once the crash was over he was laying on top of his leg with his foot next to his head. A collapsed lung among other things has kept him from riding since.

I purchased this one couple years ago so I could have my own transportation while on vacation

Paid $1600 out the door from a Honda Dealership in Digos City PHilipines

Runs like a spotted ape and sips the gas
