My mom's oldest brother is missing in Dallas. https://www.dallasnews.com/news/missing-...-scooter-dallasHe's 68, not 69. He was last seen at the VA hospital. He is a Vietnam Veteran. If you see hhim, please contact the police. He rides a very large 3 wheeled motorized scooter. Lux is visible on the back of the seat. He is in another hospital in Dallas. Not a lot of information yet. I'm driving my mom there now.

Thank you all. We've spent the last several hours in Dallas looking for him to no avail. The VA police recognized him and his scooter and truck from the pictures we showed. We're just praying he's found alive.

There has been no word. It is now 2 days since he's had his insulin and heart meds. He is a Vietnam Vet has very bad PTSD, along with other mental issues. He needs to be found. I appreciate all the prayers.

  These pictures were taken in March. That's his scooter. Those of you that go to the VA hospital in Dallas probably recognize him. He's been going there forever. He usually goes around 4 a.m. so he can be one of the first ones seen.

Yes. He was not alert when he was found Saturday. They didn't know his name until yesterday, but he was registered under his nickname, not his given name. He couldn't tell them anything until today.

DPD has been here. They said my uncle called on Saturday and said he'd been beat up and robbed. However, he doesn't have a phone... so, maybe someone loaned him theirs? We don't know. When the ambulance arrived, he was dazed and confused. He's been more coherent today than any day since he arrived. He just knows a guy said he'd give him a lift because his truck wasn't running right. To my uncle, that could mean a bulb burned out. Seriously. He got in the truck and before they were very far, the guy started beating him. My Uncle told him he could have anything, just not to hurt him. He keeps moaning, 'Don't hurt me' when he's asleep. He also rubs his chest.

I appreciate everything. He's resting and I brought Mom home. She's going back in the morning, but I need to work. He has remembered more of the attack, but I'm not going into it right now. The amazing thing is half of the attack took place on the side of a city street, with people around, in broad daylight.

Yes, he was found with the scooter. The man apparently got it out of his truck before fleeing. We learned yesterday evening that there might be witnesses. The police still haven't told us where exactly the ambulance picked him up.

They moved my uncle to rehab today. A urologist will have to deal with the bladder and kidney issues. He's having memory issues and isn't understanding why he knows some people, including his caregiver. He recognizes them and knows their name, but not the relationship.

I for one still cant imagine this happening and cant believe some mouth breather did this to your Uncle. He deserves to get the same treatment over and over. Complete piece of [censored]!
