Looking to cool a room of 225 sq ft, window unit bit the dust and was thinking about going with a portable. Anyone have one? Pros/cons

I tried to go cheapo when building out my wife�s grooming trailer and putting a portable in it.. it was junk and wouldn�t even cool the small space.. ended up going to the rv shop and having em put a roof top on it.. had to eat the cost of portable and it just sits out in shed.. guess that�s what I get for being a cheapo.. always did had good luck with window units tho.

I have and it works well as far as cooling goes, its kinda loud though (I can watch TV but the sound has to be up fairly loud) my biggest complaint is that the condensation water is supposed to be evaporated away by the heat from the compressor , its a small drain pan that sits on compressor and it will over flow, I finally took the unit & sat it on a small table and ran a drain line to a 5 gal bucket, it will make 5 gals of condensation water a day in July & August but it keeps things chilly inside when its hot out.
