I've fished the Zoom Super Fluke for years with success.
Has anyone ever used the Magnum Fluke?
If so, do you fish the Magnum Fluke any different from a regular Super Fluke?

Prespawn weightless in 6' - 10' in ditches or secondary points in spawning flats. Dead stick...deadly!

Caught all 3 of my DDs on magnum flukes. 2 on t-rig, 1 on c-rig.

You will get less bites, you wont catch dinks, average fish for me is 3-4 pounds. If you fish where the big ones live, and have a good idea on where they are, throw a mag fluke in green pumpkin or watermelon red wth scent.

I fish the mag fluke quite a bit. Lost a monster on one last month at CB. Had a 10.5 first thing that morning on a Thumper then an hour later lost a freakin giant on a mag fluke. Still in therapy over the whole ordeal hammer

Weightless, Texas rig, Carolina rig, and Arkie jig head. They catch big fish!
Owner 6/0 hook works very well.

It is a big bulky bait. When the BIG ONE got away from me I got my bait back and it had balled up on the hook and "rehooked" itself down near the tail. When a big fish takes a soft plastic bait it is all wadded up in the fish's mouth. You set the hook as hard as you can but sometimes this will happen. I tried several hooks and lost a couple more fish.

I finally settled on this one. I fish it weightless unless the wind is blowing then I add a tiny bit of weight to the belly of the hook. I get the tiny tungsten weights from River A Tackle on here.

The free-swinging weight gives the fish a different look. The two biggest fish I have hooked this spring have both come on this setup.

6/0 hook, 1/4oz. weight, and fish it like a worm.

I have fished them a bunch. I use a Gamakatsu superline offset EWG hook 5/0 or 6/0 with much success.
I use this hook with braid, flouro and mono.
