Ponderosa Ramp is right at Luce bayou. There is a guy on the Crappie forum that goes by SK. and he fishes Lake Houston quite frequently with much success!

Ponderosa is on Huffman/Cleveland road a mile off of 2100. $7 to launch. Bayou depth ranges from 22 ft to very shallow. Couple big cypress stumps in places you wouldn't expect. Tons of crappie fisherman fishing channel so weekends will be a slow go if you launch from Ponderosa. Bayou gets a ton of pressure but there are some bass in there. Good Luck.
