This was the best 1 fish night I've ever had! My buddy had a 2 and 6.1 this one was 9.3 over 24"

Her fins and tail had real cool black spots it was post spawn but fat. It was a crazy fight she got around the only stump because it was my only bite and completely unexpected.

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

Nice catch! Those black spots are melanosis, which can be anything from little spots to covering practically the entire fish. Bass Pro in Grapevine has quite a few bass with melanosis in their waterfall tank.
New to angling. Catch and release. The dream - to catch at least one of every species in our great state (if I can manage to resist carp)!
