Has anyone fish Lake Murvaul these pass weeks, plan on going this week. Have not been on Murvaul in Years.

I haven't been in a couple months, but usually fish it regularly. I'm sure they are on a post-spawn pattern. I usually do good on frogs around rip-rap or grass this time of year early, then flipping reeds. Problem is--grass and reeds may be hard to find. The lake had to spray giant salvania last summer, and it killed all the good stuff. In June, the fish will get out on points--but I'm sure alot of fish are still shallow in May. Fish are always under the docks too. Fish any soft plastics in black/blue color and you should figure some kind of pattern out. Good luck.

Had a goog time last week, found some 3 and 4lbs schooling for about 45 min on top water, then found some on sq.bill crankbaits in 2 to 6 feet. water temp is 82 already.
