I've been happy with my Diablo Amigo. No issues fly fishing from it. Sitting or standing.

And while there check out the New Native Slayer XC. It was designed by Native's Team and 3 of us on Pro Staff that are fly fishermen. It is a fly fishing machine.

Jerry, I was on the Ack website yesterday and the XC doesnt even show up as a preorder right now. When will this boat be available to buy? Do you know of any shops that have them in stock? Thanks

Yep, most recent place I've been--that's where I was looking at the Diablo and Feelfree. They don't have any demo days scheduled for awhile, but they do offer $35/day rentals, and I can use one in the morning and come get another for the afternoon. That's the plan.

Just to clarify, I am bass fishing first, almost exclusively with baitcasters. The fly fishing would just be now and again. I don't think I want to buy based upon tailoring my choice to fly fishing.

Thanks for the good info so far!

The market lately have been flooded with great kayaks, as it seems the manufacturers are constantly trying to one up one another.
It can be kind of overwhelming to a newbie.

Just one more cast!

They should have them in stock. They have shipped limited numbers of them to Texas. I'll be in San Marcos next weekend if you want to check mine out.
Just message me and let me know.

I say that because it has things that fly fishers would want and don't find on a lot of kayaks.
It is first and foremost a river boat and can be used for any style of fishing.
