Was on a lake with marked boat lanes Property owner decides to build a big dock right out to the edge of the boat lane and then gets mad because boats would go by on plane so he sits on he's dock drinking beer and throwing a floating ski rope out into the boat lane, I come along rope wraps around my prop locks it down and shatters my lower unit
as I'm handing the local boat shop the $ 9500 check for replacing it he tells me I'm not the first person he's got

This was several years ago, we did talk to them and they said unless we actually saw him throw it in front of us there was nothing they could do
