Oh, and I generally use a 4# tippet on the half weight, but may use an 8# bite tippet when teeth are involved........

You really need to gitcha a half weight and join us in the lower Keys in September. I promise you'll enjoy yourself, even if you don't catch a rio.

Yeah, you're right. I would probably just catch an old permit or bonefish. Dang it, I wanna catch a Rio. I would probably have to stick with one of my 2 weights; not sure I'm man enough to handle a 1/2 weight rod. Maybe if I spend a little more time in the weight room I can work up to it.
