Had Hugh Allen and his wife Brenda out for a trip. It was not the best trip but the fish are starting to show up
where they are suppose to be. Ended up with a two man limit. Had to really work for the fish. Few here and
a few there. All fish caught on slopes in 13 to 24 ft. of water. All fish caught on ole ugly slabs and flies
Afew of these fish were spawned out and man that is late. Looks like they are finally ready to turn on on Eagle Mountain. Birds still along the banks which means shad are still spawning. I chucked for an hour early up shallow but found nobody home.
