Hey guys! I�ve been experimenting with some gear lately and found a significant difference in my hybrid catch rates on circle hooks/shad when using my abu Garcia reels with bait alarm/line out alarm vs the cheaper reels that came on the ugly sticks from academy that do not have this feature. One morning when hybrids were extremely aggressive and competitive it didn�t make a big difference while other trips I may have lost a third of the strikes on the cheaper reels. That is likely well known on here but thought worth sharing and talking for those that have seen my recent videos and may be curious to give hybrid/striper fishing a try with live shad.
