Seeing big dollar boats around. The big boys are having a tournament this weekend on my pond. I might run down to Paris to see what’s new.

I will be very interested to see how they do. It’s been slow. A few big fish, but scattered. They always catch big sacks...but I think they will have to work.

Twenty pounds a day. I wish I could watch.

If they can get their bait past the Asian carp. They've been posting videos. Pretty sad deal for a once awesome fishery

They're saying it's going to set up perfectly but all the locals say it's going to be tough. Maybe BASS is hyping it up a little.

That whole Asian carp deal is crazy. Where they in KY lake last time the Elites were there? I think it was 2 years ago

Yes.

There used to be grass back in the coves...now there is none. Without cover, the fry are sitting ducks. Even the crappie fishermen are saying that when they catch a slab...they are skinny.

I can’t provide you with local knowledge on the fish, but if I can help you in any way...drop me a msg. I’m about 15 minutes from Paris Landing...

I’m going to be interested in seeing if any of the guys run clear over to Barkley. It’s a haul, and your fishing day would be shorter, but they are catching more bass over there from what I am hearing.

Thank you sir, we have a house rented just a few miles from PL and I believe the tournament is going out of there. I'll be in touch when we get closer, leaving the 26th and be there for the entire week.
