Been catching fish but having so much fun tying different patterns.

Here's what seems to work best so far...




Been trying pattern I see online from different sites. There's a guy on here who ties really long ones with hackle. I tried a few of those last night.

Anyone on here use long jigs like that? I'm going to try em this weekend I it doesn't rain to much.

Match the hatch.

There are times when the crappie are mainly feeding on shad, then other times when they are after "glass minnows". These minnows are long & skinny, just like your jigs. thumb

Great looking ties. I like them bigger/longer ties. Caught several fish last weekend that had 3.75 to 4" shad in them.
