I bought "waterproof" athletic shoes. had them for like 5 years. They still keep my feet dry. I actually just bought a can of "silicone" spray and re-applied it to them because of their age.

I don't wear rubber boats, their decks are too slick when they get wet

I don't wear rubber boots. I wear Timberland Shoes with a Gore-Tex lining.

L. L. Bean Maine Hunting Shoes. Leather upper and rubber bottom. I use them 3 seasons, fall, winter, and spring. Order them a size larger than your actual size so you can wear two pairs of socks in cold weather. Very well made, and dont rub my ankles like some cheap knockoffs do.

I bought some heavy duty rubber shoe covers from Academy that just slip over my shoes. If its warm Im fishing barefoot
