Meriam Webster defines the term snowflake as: "disparaging term for a person who is seen as overly sensitive and fragile."

I would argue that the guys getting so upset over Chase's use of a word are the true "snowflakes". I don't consider an 8lber a SAL either but I couldn't care less what he wants to call his fish.

Same here. Some need to just grow up and accept the changes.

Has nothing to do with people growing up. Just some of us think the new program is an absolute joke!

And honestly, most of the people that are FOR it, are the same guys on here complaining they cant catch a damn fish out of Lake Fork!

That's just my opinion.

To be clear, I sit on both sides.

I think that only a 13lb or above bass should be called a Sharelunker.

I also think the people complaining about it on here and ridiculing anyone for using the term are simply wasting their time and seem to enjoy complaining.

So here is your chance to take action. I am sure we need way more than 100 signatures to get TPWD attention. Probably a few hundred at least...

Fine with the new program also.
In general, it's the kind of personality that invites and encourages the feedback it's getting.
A few years ago, there was a similar character posting videos in the bass section that received the same kind of responses.

...Wait a minute ....
I couldn't get pass the first sentence of the post by BIGG BASS.
"The Texas Fishing Community is not happy" .........
I consider myself to be part of the Texas Fishing Community & I am perfectly HAPPY.
who gave or what gives BIG BASS the right to speak/write for the entire Texas Fishing Community ?
the first rule of DEBATE is to be sure when you state a FACT it can be supported as actual and documented ..... to say "The Texas Fishing Community" is to imply ALL and that is not a statement of fact since I am part of the Texas Fishing Community and I am perfectly HAPPY. Everything that comes after that is really not registering --- by me.

WHO really cares what someone calls their fish ?

I look forward to the day when I have so little to worry about that I feel the need to petition to change what someone calls an 8 to 12.99 pound bass.
