Can anybody suggest options for gar tackle? Reel, line, rods, and any accessories that might be useful. I'm planning on giving them a go on the Trinity in the near future and don't have anything that can handle a dinosaur in my arsenal. Thanks in advance.

I've been looking up a bit of info for this purpose as well, I'll share what I've found so far. I find that it's sometimes easier to look at a video of someone fishing for gar and observe as there aren't too many tutorial videos out there.
