Went and tried some night fishing last night. Got my first night fish, 3-12 smallie in the dark, holy cow that was a fun fight. Then ended trip with a 5-9 LM ! Heck of a time, definitely doing some more night fishing as it gets hotter.

Night time fishing is some of the best fishing I have done... just got to prepare a little different. Love it though.

Donald, I never mind sharing, I'm just learning and really appreciate all the tips I have gotten from members here.
Everything I did to plan the trip was based on info I learned from both the articles you wrote and emailed me, and a couple of articles from books referred here on tff. You consistently say to study unique contours and drag c-rig to search them out. Well for some reason I still can't get the feel for c-rig, so i used your suggestions but with the t-rig that I am confident with. Dragged it till I found right depth then stayed on it. As far as baits t-rig for me and big shakey head for wife. both with baby brushhog, started with that and never had chance or reason to change, in hindsight I maybe should have sized up to regular hog to keep the dinks away but I was having too much fun.
