Looking at Navionics online and it shows buoys marking boat lanes on HC. Is there that much timber that you have to strictly run the buoys?

I’m taking my 9 year old tomorrow and want to play it safe.

There aren’t buoys. Just run it. If you try to go Into the mouths of Sandy or Hubbard not much to be concerned with.
