Does anybody fish Shawnee Creek under 91 bridge? It looked good for Bass and Sunfish. I saw no signs of people fishing there, is it off limits?

Is the land public for walking up and down?

Appreciate any info.

As many times that I've been by there I've never seen anyone fishing in that area.

I still haven't seen anyone fishing there. Do people ever bank fish or kayak in from the main river?

Or is this sacred ground that is off limits?

Been up it numerous times. There are some pools that hold fish. I like to go fossil hunting up there. Kinda pretty and nice place to go to.

KIDS AND I WENT LAST WEEKEND AND CAME HOME WITH A BUCKET OF FOSSILS. WE LOVE TO FOSSIL HUNT THAT AREA. Snakes are everywhere out there right now. Rocks are warming up and waking up the reptiles. Use caution!

No, we parked at the Dam park and walked down along the river and around the big culverts that were washed out during the last flood. We also stopped and spoke with the catfish guide that was in the airboat.

Really fun hobby to get the kids interested in. You ever take them down on Post Oak creek to look for sharks teeth?
