 1/24oz head question

Does many people use this size of head? I was looking at getting this mold, but if there is not a huge demand for it I don't need it. I have a 1/32oz and a 1/16oz mold. Just curious to see what everyone has to say.
Also what about a 1/100oz head?
I would hand tie on them.

I use a 1/16 oz for Crappie. I have not used a 1/32 oz.

I would probably get input from Tim White, he deals in the smaller hand ties and could probably provide useful input! Good to see you are posting outside they tying section!
Do you know, if the 1/100 head can be used as a bead head and/ or floating jighead type tie? I dont know anything about tying, so please understand my question, is based on ignorance.

I used to use 1/100th oz jigs in olive green back in my native CO for trout. I fished a lake with a lot of freshwater shrimp that were olive colored and the little jigs were very effective. Had to use 2 lb line in order to use them and a 5 or 6 lb rainbow or brown on line that light is a pretty good battle.

Michael Verduin was a well known fly fisherman. He tied his cap spider on a 1/124th jig head. He said the weight allowed for the perfect rate of decent. I have used the 1/100th jig head to tie cap spiders before. It would, of course be difficult to cast with spinning gear but works great with a fly rod. I would think a 1/24th head would work great for fishing for white bass in the creeks with a spinning rod. A 1/32 ounce head is difficult to throw with spinning gear and a 1/16th head is a bit too heavy at times so it would be a good compromise.

I bought some from Zuma and love em! Great for a tiny jig n float!

I think I have made my decision. Going to do 1/64, 1/32, 1/16 and 1/8 hand tied jigs. I may expand out more down the road but for right now going to stick to these sizes.
I got a couple pretty good size orders to start on next week and once I get them done I will be able to pour heads and get stocked up for the winter bite.
