That was done a long time ago...sad to see them going this route but it seemed to be the most obvious course of action based on how Johnny Morris has handled other purchases.

Chris, are you going to stay with Legend ? or move on ? My V-20 is only a year old and I'm not planning to get into anything new for several years. At that time, I will go to whatever Billy Sartin is involved with so that would probably end up being a Charger but time will tell. Hate to see it for Billy as much as anything. He's spent more than 10 years building a big name for Legend Boats in NE Texas.

I'm guessing White river just wanted the Factory space, I mean legend was well on there way to closing the doors before White river purchasing them. Who knows I bet there may be a relaunch of the product, after they figure out where these boat fit in the market.

They had just finished a state of the art facility. They had a long list of people waiting to have their boats built and their name was branching further and further out in the industry as a top of the line quality boat that set itself apart from many boats out there. I've been in every bass boat there is over the last 5+ years and there isn't one that I felt had the look, feel and final touches the Legends do. And I've never received a penny from Legend.

I'm curious as well. I thought Legend was thriving.

Falling Sales said otherwise. But alas I have no concrete info, other then published sales figures and what I had heard. Great boat and I hope they will still be produced. But Champion was great boat too, just could never get the sales to support them. Hopefully White River can get them the marketing they need to sell those boats.
