So I�m Google-Earthing the area around my brother�s beach house on Crystal Beach and I see a little outflow into the Gulf from Johnson Bayou. Was thinking of hitting the surf there where it flows in. Is that freshwater? Brackish? Any idea if the surf is good there? What about the bayou itself? I�ll have my 14 and 16 year olds with me. Ideally want to put a couple of big rods out with cut mullet and then throw artificials in shallower. Not real familiar with the area though. Any help is much appreciated.
