Now that I have figured out the degree of Rod Holder I need I am looking for input on brands.I need heavy duty as they will be used for deep dropping and daytime swording. These are flush mount with a backing plate. I want molded or welded pins, stainless steel.

Your advice or suggestions will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

I personally own a variety of rod holders - actually thinking of putting together something of a review in the kayak section at some point covering scotty vs. ram and the various rod holders i own.

I personally purchased and use right now some stealth ones - https://www.stealthrodholders.com/

That said they are NOT welded pin/stainless steel - but do match the use of the one you linked and are my favorite for trolling. The glass re-enforced nylon can take a good bit of abuse.

i love beereadys for drifting and for that purpose beat out any other by sheer elegance - but they are not nearly as good at trolling - though they do have a modification that might work I have yet to test that modification. Since he seems to be talking about trolling i mentioned the stealth ones.
