The lake is fishing pretty well right and we have been catching limits pretty frequently. The Hybrids are starting to bite but they are mostly all 15-17" fish. We have been starting our days catching fish under birds and then switching to live bait and slabs once the fish go deeper. The fish are really healthy and surprisingly, most of the ones we are catching are females full of eggs. I think the lake is behind about a month this year with all the cold weather we have seen lately. There are still a bunch of male sand bass in the creeks and I expect we should be able to see a few giant waves of females go up the creeks if we get a good 1-2" rain. On the windy days when we cant get the boat out I'm still offering creek trips. Get in touch with me if you want to get on the water.
Here are a few of the photos from the past week and a half.
